- if we can depend on it. He referred to the French Revolution and
- the Russian Revolution but, rather conspicuously, omitted any
- mention of the American Revolution, which predated the others
- in promulgating the concepts of liberty and the rights of
- mankind. It makes one ask whether it is possible the Soviets
- still do not fully recognize and accept these tenets.
